We have been coming here for 5 years, one of our favorites in Cottbus. Good number of vegetarian options too.

The atmosphere is definitely 60s. The ribs are pretty and their regular menu is good price.

Hmm...not the worst place, but visiting it was pretty nervous and uncomfortable. Firstly, staff is approaching you to see your QR code. Okay, that's not their fault, but mine didn't load fast because of bad connection and I was sent to the table outside under that shitty snow-rain among strange guys with beer). I mean, rules are not their problem but it's a logic that if I try to open the app with QR code and try to show it - it's highly likely that I really have it)) After that I finally entered and was pretty shocked because of prices, like 5 euros for pommes and burgers from 8... Okay, whatever. Almost all tables were reserved, but there were nobody sitting there. Maybe you guys reserve them for the whole day for every customer, I don't know, but a lot of reserved tables were unoccupied for a long time. Food was not bad, but not special. Really more than acceptable. But eating it behind a small table in the middle of the room was not super comfortable for me and my social phobia) Staff is polite and speaks English if you switch to it being too nervous to understand German. Ordering system js not that obvious cause you can't enter and find a menu at a glance and need to contact staff members once more to get it.) I was too strange there so staff will definitely remember me. So not the best place if you have anxiety disorder, especially in rush hour when every table in quiet corners is reserved. One good random thing - they probably forgot to include one position in my bill so I got my food 6 euros cheaper, hahah. That's why the final price was fair instead of exorbitant (even compared to one famous and pretty expensive burger place here in Cottbus just around the corner). So food 7/10, everything else 4/10. Not introvert friendly) P.S. Entrance is barely visible and looks more like some emergency door so if you don't know where it is it's hardly noticeable so I spent a couple of minutes looking for it

I first went to Jimmy's Diner way back in 1994 when I was working in Cottbus on The Holiday Inn now called The Lindner Statt Hotel the food and drink was always good with fantastic music and atmosphere, the Barmaid Sandra was so friendly and hard working and the manager Zion was a lovely friendly guy, he had a very bad car accident when I was there, the last time I was in Cottbus was in 2008 went there again still as good as ever thank you for so many happy memories ❤

Bellow average food. Far away from how a diner should cater. Staff is friendly though and the interior is really like in an American diner. Too bad the food does not hold up.
